Your notes are yours. Here is exactly how Notenner treats them.

Effective 20 October 2026 · Notenner for iPad and iPhone · Published by DIRWAAS Intelligent Solutions LLC

The short version

Notenner does not collect, sell or share your personal data. We run no servers that store your notes, we use no analytics or advertising, and we do not track you across apps or websites.

Where your notes are stored

Your notebooks, drawings, recordings, flashcards and settings are stored on your device. If you turn on iCloud, Apple syncs them through your own private iCloud account using CloudKit. We cannot see or access that data. You can turn iCloud sync off in the app at any time.

Sharing and live collaboration

When you invite someone to a note, it is shared through Apple’s iCloud sharing with only the people you invite. You can stop sharing whenever you like.

On-device intelligence

Features such as summaries, flashcard drafts, handwriting recognition, translation and transcription use Apple frameworks that run on your device where your device supports them. Your notes are not sent to us or to any AI company.

Permissions

Each permission is optional. Notenner keeps working without it; only the related feature is unavailable.

Children

Notenner is suitable for students of all ages. Because we do not collect personal data, we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Deleting your data

Delete a note in the app, or delete the app to remove everything on the device. Data synced to iCloud can be removed in the app or in your device’s iCloud settings.
